Since the 2010s, Mozambique has become the world's top ruby producer, offering vibrant red stones with outstanding clarity. Though they lack the fluorescence of Burmese rubies, their beauty is highly valued. Other important sources include Vietnam, Tanzania, and Pakistan. Global demand continues to fuel ruby mining despite regional challenges.
